Have you ever wondered what am I doing here on this earth? What is my purpose in this life? Is there life after death? What does it mean to be born-again? If you want more meaning in your life, you have an invitation. You can choose to accept or not to accept. The choice is yours. Love, joy, peace and true meaning and purpose in life are available to all.

Author, Henry Miranda, in his book, “The Path to Eternal Life” invites and encourages you, the reader, to choose life and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and Savior. Time is of the essence and there is not a moment to spare for that decision. For none of us know what tomorrow shall bring. Enter into the reality of what it means to have your sins blotted out and have your name written in the Book of Life. Enter now through the narrow gate, Jesus Christ, the giver of Eternal Life.

Beginning with the straightforward question of the choice of Heaven and Hell, the author sets forth a candid dialogue on the life-altering question of life after death. Openly sharing his testimony, the author, discusses what led him to Christ and how Christ delivered him out of the domains of darkness. The author encourages you to know your true purpose in life and to find true life, that which can only be found in the one who can offer eternal life, Jesus Christ.

The author thoroughly describes the process of salvation, step by step and includes explanation in regards to what it means to be born again, what about the Holy Spirit, the journey, the spirit and the flesh, not to mention encouraging chapters such as perseverance and knowing your true purpose. The author fully describes what it means to walk in the light and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life.

An awakening to those who question that there is really a God, the author takes a real look at the reality of sin and a life separated from God and what can happen to anyone not in Christ. This book is a prophetic call ‘for such a time as this’ that today is the day of salvation.

This is a powerful, well-written, riveting book and an urgent call to come to the one who can offer eternal life. Scripturally sound and based, this book will encourage anyone who is not in Christ to make a choice for Christ today and not put salvation off until tomorrow. Like a cold cup of water, this book offers refreshment for those who are weary. As water brings life to one’s body, so this book brings life to the soul by giving the truth of God’s Word. What an eye-opener and a powerful ministry tool!

This book comes highly recommended. It’s all I can do to not buy a box load and pass them out to my neighbors. This book will put you on fire for Christ, enrich your life in everyway; what an impact for eternity this book will make on anyone who reads it.

Communions With Christ

By Author Sharon Ellis

This is a true story. An Archangel of the Lord appears to an unsuspecting housewife who had never been to church or read the Bible a day in her life. The God Of Salvation

Isa 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Isa 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Isa 12:4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Isa 12:5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Isa 12:6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

God Helps Us To Speak His Word. Let’s Pray That Sinners Will Be Saved.

Don’t worry about ‘what will happen tomorrow’. It’s in the Lord’s hands (James 4:14-15). We must not lose sight of ‘the purpose of the Lord’. We must remember that ‘the Lord is full of compassion and mercy’(James 5:11). We look forward to ‘the Lord’s Coming’ as the great Day of our salvation (James 5:7-8). We must not, however, forget God’s words of warning: ‘The Judge is standing at the door’. God speaks to us concerning ‘the misery that is coming upon you’. What is He saying to us here? – He is warning us: Be careful how you live – Don’t trust in riches. ‘Don’t grumble against each other’(James 5:1-3,9). The warning and the promise belong together. Those who are facing judgment can be brought to the Saviour. May God help us to speak His Word – the warning as well as the promise – , always praying that sinners will be saved (James 5:16,19-20).

Worshipping The God Of Our Salvation (Psalm 9)

"I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High" (1-2).
We worship God as those who have come to trust in Him as the God of our salvation - "The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you" (9-10).
Trusting in the Lord, the God of our salvation, our worship is heartfelt worship - "I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart" (1).
Trusting in the Lord, the God of our salvation, our worship is joyful worship - "I will be glad and rejoice in you" (2).
-----
Praise God For His Deliverance (Psalm 9).

Jesus Christ Has Died For Us - The Righteous For The Unrighteous.

Some die young. Others live to a ripe old age. None of us can predict what lies ahead of us. There are some things that are beyond our control. We look at what is happening and we say, ‘I wish things could be different’. Absalom had been killed. David wished he could have died instead of him. It was not to be. Each of us must die our own death: ‘No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him that he should live on for ever and not see decay’(Psalm 49:7-9). The ransom for a life is costly. No payment is ever enough. There is, however, a ‘Man’ who has died for us - Jesus Christ, ‘our Lord and our God’. He ‘gave Himself as a ransom for all’. ‘Christ died for sins, once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God’(John 20 28; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; 1 Peter 3:18).

Jesus Is The Way Of Salvation, Joy And Victory.

* Jesus is the way of salvation - Concerning "the Name of Jesus Christ", Peter tells us that "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:10, 12).
* Jesus is the way of joy - Jesus tells us, "In the world, you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).
* Jesus is the way of victory - Paul gives to us this word of encouragement: "Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:57).

Through Christ's Death On The Cross, God Has Provided For Us A Full Salvation!

Having chosen the way of sin, we are ‘naked’ and ashamed (Genesis 3:10). The Gospel teaches us that ‘there’s a way back to God from the dark paths of sin’. We can be clothed with the righteousness of Christ. We can bring the ‘filthy rags’ of ‘our righteous acts’ (Isaiah 64:6) to God, and we can exchange them for the perfect righteousness of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). Putting our trust in Christ, we need not be ashamed in God’s presence (Romans 10:11). There must be no ‘passing the buck’ - the man blaming the woman, the woman blaming the serpent (Genesis 3:12-13). We are to confess our sins and receive God’s forgiveness (1 John 1:9). This forgiveness comes to us through the Cross where the suffering Saviour becomes the victorious Victor and the subtle serpent became the defeated devil. This is the message of Genesis 3:15. Through the Cross, God has provided for us a full salvation!

Renewed By God’s Salvation, We Are Strengthened For Service.

In all the service we offer to God, there is to be the offering of worship: ‘To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever’ (1 Peter 4:11; 5:11). We will not learn to serve God unless we are learning to worship Him. There is a ‘form of religion’ which ‘denies the power’ of God - ‘These people honour Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me’ (2 Timothy 3:5; Matthew 15:8). They go through the motions - but their hearts are not in it! We must pray that God will deliver us from this kind of thing: ‘O for a heart to praise my God! A heart from sin set free; A heart that always feels Thy blood, so freely shed for me’ (Church Hymnary, 85). ‘Religion’ is about respectability. Salvation is about renewal: ‘Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me’ (Psalm 51:10).

The Lord Saves Us With His Strong And Powerful Love.

‘We boast of the Name of the Lord our God…Through the steadfast love of the Most High’ we ‘shall not be moved’ (Psalms 20:7; 21:7). We do not trust in things that ‘collapse and fall’. We build on ‘the Rock’ (Psalm 20:8; Matthew 7:24-27; Psalms 18:1-3; 62:5-7). We ‘rejoice’ in our God. He has made us ‘most blessed for ever’ (Psalm 21:1,6; Ephesians 1:3). Think of Jesus Christ your Saviour. He is absolutely trustworthy. He is completely dependable. His love is an ‘unfailing love’ (Psalm 21:7). In Him, there is salvation. In Him, there is joy. With His strong and powerful love, He has saved us. He has given us ‘a new song’ to sing, ‘a song of praise to our God’ (Psalm 40:1-3). Let us lift our hearts and voices to Him in praise and worship: ‘Be exalted, O Lord, in Thy strength! We will sing and praise Thy power’ (Psalm 21:13).

The Lord Strengthens Us With His Salvation.

‘I am the Lord… I will strengthen you’ (Isaiah 45:5).

How does the Lord strengthen us? He strengthens us with salvation. He comes to us as our ‘God and Saviour.’ He calls us to come to Him and receive salvation: ‘Turn to Me and be saved…’ Through faith in Christ, we are ‘saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation’ (Isaiah 45:15, 17, 21-22). We are strengthened with ‘everlasting salvation’. We look ahead to Christ’s Return ‘in power and great glory’ (Matthew 24:30). On that Day, the glory of our Saviour will be fully revealed: ‘At the Name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.’
Jesus is our Saviour. His ‘Name is above every name’. Our ‘strength’ comes from Him (Isaiah 45:23-24; Philippians
2:10-11).

From The Lord, We Receive Salvation.

God is ‘our salvation’. He is the ‘God of salvation’ (Psalm 68:19-20).

God’s salvation covers our past, present and future.

(a) You have been saved. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we have received the forgiveness of our sins (Romans 5:1).

(b) You are being saved. God is at work in our lives, making us the kind of people He wants us to be (Romans 5:3-5).

(c) You will be saved. We look forward to ‘sharing the glory of God’, being with the Lord forever (Romans 5:2, 9-10).

From beginning to end, salvation is the work of God. He has forgiven our sins. He is making us like Christ. He will lead us on to heaven.

Our God is great. His salvation is great. Let us ‘be joyful’. Let us worship the Lord ‘with joy’ (Psalm 68:3). Let us give all the glory to God - ‘Blessed be God!’(Psalm 68:35).

"Kept By The Power Of God", "Keep Yourselves In The Love Of God" (2)

When we understand that faith has no meaning apart from grace, the words, "Keep yourselves in God's love" are not seen as words which draw our attention away from the wonderful blessing of being "kept by the power of God." When we understand that faith, directed only to divine mercy, excludes all worthiness, we can read the words of Jesus - "Your faith has saved you" (Luke 7:50) - without feeling that they are leading us away from a God-centred message to a man-centred outlook.

"Kept By The Power Of God", "Keep Yourselves In The Love Of God" (1)

We emphasize both "grace" and "faith" (Ephesians 2:8). Faith does not compete with grace for our attention. Faith looks away from itself to grace, directing our attention away from ourselves to "Christ Jesus" who "came into the world to save sinners" (1 Timothy 1:15). In relation to perseverance, we hold together the words of 1 Peter 1:5 - we are "kept by the power of God" - and the words of Jude 21 - "Keep yourselves in God's love."

Come To Christ And Find Salvation In Him Alone.

Genesis 7
What was going on outside of the ark is contrasted with the haven of salvation inside the ark. We read that, once all were in the ark, "the Lord closed the door behind them" (v. 16). What was it that made the ark a place of salvation? - The Lord. What is it that makes Jesus Christ the Source of our salvation? - "God has given Him the Name that is above every name, the Name of our salvation" (Philippians 2:9-11; Acts 4:12). This is the spiritual significance of what we read in Genesis concerning the flood: "Salvation is of the Lord"(Jonah 2;9). Christ is the Door. Those who enter through Him will be saved (John 10:9). We must listen to what God says concerning salvation. If we listen to what the world says, we will conclude that all will be saved. If we listen to the Lord, we will come to Christ and find salvation in Him alone. From the ark, we learn of (a) the one way of salvation - The ark had only one door. Jesus is 'the Door' which leads to salvation (John 10:9). (b) the eternal security of salvation - All were safe inside the ark. In Christ, there is eternal security (John 10:28). (c) the absolute necessity of salvation - Outside of the ark, there was certain death. Refusal to come to Christ for salvation leads to judgment: 'How shall we escape ... ?' (Hebrews 2:3).

Trusting In Christ As Saviour, Let Us Walk With God.

Genesis 5
The most significant comment in this chapter is in verses 22-23: "Enoch walked with God". We should not, however bypass the reference to Noah who also "walked with God" (6:9). In verse 29, we read of Noah ("Relief"): "This child will bring us relief from the work and painful labour of our hands since the Lord has cursed the ground." This seems to be a rather mundane statement. When we carry the word, "relief" into our study of chapters 6-9, we see the deeper spiritual significance of Noah within the purpose of God. By building the ark, Noah brought relief from the storm of God's judgment. What an awesome judgment of God the flood was. In the midst of this judgment, there was relief (salvation).
The ark is a picture of Christ. Those who are in Him are saved. Those who are outside of Him are lost. Christ is the "child" of our salvation. He takes salvation out of "the painful labour of our hands. He takes it into His hands. Looking to Christ and what He has done for us, we can say, with confidence, that we are "safe in the arms of Jesus."

Christ Has Been Raised For Us. We Will Be Raised With Him.

Mark 15:42-16:20
Dead and buried (44-46) - ‘The End’? No! There is more. An ‘Appendix’? No! A whole new beginning - For Jesus, for us! He is ‘the first fruits’(1 Corinthians 15:20,23). The full glory is still to come (1 Corinthians 15:24). He has risen (6). ‘At His coming, those who belong to Christ’ will be raised - with Him and by Him - to everlasting life (1 Corinthians 15:23). This is the glory of the resurrection. It is not simply a thing of the past. It is our glorious future - we ‘will be raised imperishable’(1 Corinthians 15:52). There is a Gospel to be preached - the Gospel of salvation (15-16). May God help us to preach the Gospel ‘everywhere’- This will involve all of us, not just a few of us! May He give us the joy of seeing Him at work, confirming the message by the signs that attend it (20).

Christ's Sacrifice, Our Salvation

Mark 15:6 -41
Jesus did not ‘save Himself’. ‘He saved others’(31). He sacrificed Himself for our salvation. His was the sacrifice. Ours is the salvation. He ‘put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself’(Hebrews 9:26). Barabbas was ‘released’. Jesus was ‘crucified’(15). This is the Gospel - He took my place, He died for me. He was ‘forsaken’ by God (34). We are reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:19,21). We rejoice that Christ ignored the mocking call from ‘the chief priests’ and ‘scribes’: ‘come down now from the Cross’(32). He paid the full price of our salvation. For us now, there is full salvation. His suffering was complete: ‘It is finished’(John 19:30) was not a whimper of defeat. It was the declaration of victory. All that was needed - He has done for us. Now, He invites us to receive salvation: ‘Come; for all is now ready’(Luke 14:17).

Salvation Is God’s Doing, Not Ours.

Mark10:1-31
The Pharisees came to Jesus - ‘to test Him’(2). They asked Him about divorce (2). He spoke to them about marriage (6-9). We need to be positive, well grounded in the basic principles of God’s Word. When the thorny problems come - as they surely will - we will face them with maturity, and not as ‘children, tossed to fro and and carried about with every wind of doctrine’(Ephesians 4:14). Jesus loved the little children (13-16). Do we? Some say ‘No’ to the love of Jesus (21-22). Say ‘Yes’ to Him. We cannot save ourselves. Salvation is God’s doing, not ours (26-27). Don’t let ‘self’ take the place of Christ: ‘we have left everything...’(28). Don’t say, ‘I have given so much to God, done so much for Him, given up so much for Him’. God has given you more! God has done more for you! God has given up more for you! John 3:16.

Saved, Satisfied And Sharing

Mark 6:14-44
They were great men of God - ‘John the baptizer... Elijah... the prophets of old’(14-15). None of them can compare with the Lord Jesus Christ. These men directed attention to the Lord (1 Kings 18:36-39; Isaiah 52: 13-53:12; Jeremiah 31:31-34; Ezekiel 36:25-27). Of Christ alone, we say, ‘There is salvation in no one else...’(Acts 4:12). Christ saves - and satisfies: We feed on Him and we are ‘satisfied’(42). Apart from Him, the human search ends in this: ‘I can't get no satisfaction’. In Him, there is satisfaction - He is the Saviour. Saved, satisfied and sharing - this is what we are to be. To His disciples, He still says, 'You give them something...' (37). We say, ‘We don’t have enough’. He says, ‘I am more than enough’(2 Corinthians 3:5). Many are ‘like sheep without a shepherd’. We must not fail them. We must ‘teach them many things’(34).
