Fears Of A Depression

We are hearing more and more about the United States being in a financial disaster. Mortgage problems, the housing market falling apart, American's loosing their homes, unemployment at a all time high, oil prices rising, credit card companies failing, and major corporations filing bankruptcy. Daily we hear bad news reports and the echo's of a recession fast becoming a depression, as the war in Iraq continues and the war against terrorism is costing this country billions and billions of dollars.

So what does one do? Wait it all out, and hope for the best? Many are, however I want to encourage you to trust in the Lord and apply the wisdom of Joseph. Make plans and provisions for yourself and your family in case of hard times. Stock up on those items and needs that you might have to depend upon to see you through a difficult season.

No I'm not trying to scare anyone, just encourage you to be prepared just in case there are some rocky times ahead, just in case we have a season of famine, or drought. Think of the days of the depression that rocked this country once before. I mean after all, you don't wait till the car has ran out of gasoline and your stuck in traffic to finally get some gas. You get some gas when the gage is showing near empty and you realize that you need gas.

So plan ahead, and put aside the things that you might need, or that your family and relatives might need. Be wise, be prepared, because you never know when the clouds might become dark over the lands and that time might be upon us.
